Are you a young Native American? Do you know someone who is? The guys at the Casting Scoop have just revealed that Rene Haynes is heading up the Native American casting on the New Moon movie and they are looking for people to audition for a part in the wolf pack. You need to be quick though as the deadline is the end of January!
Now, before everyone hyperventilates, please read the following instructions and follow them TO THE LETTER, in order to ensure your chances at being considered for the film:
SEEKING NATIVE AMERICAN TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS
Casting Director René Haynes and her staff are very happy to accommodate any Native teens and young adults (who look very youthful) who are interested in sending them an audition.
HOW TO SUBMIT
First thing to do if you fit the specs is to email a recent photo and your contact information to: info@rhcasting.com.
They are not currently seeking submissions for any roles other than the ones mentioned here, so only respond if you meet the above requirements.
* For the love of Edward, do not attempt to call the casting office.
* Repeat: Do not call the casting office.
* One more time? Please, please, please do not call the casting office.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
You will be sent a package that has very specific instructions, as well as the deadline, which is January 30.

After all of the media speculation about Vanessa Hudgens auditioning for the part as vampire Leah in the upcoming New Moon film it has come to light that Leah isn’t even going to be in the movie!
Twilight and New Moon scriptwriter Melissa Rosenberg is reported as saying:
“if Vanessa is auditioning for the role of Leah, she’s written her own pages to read, ’cause I didn’t write ‘em. “
No big surprise really as Leah doesn’t really feature in New Moon - but it’s good to put an end to all of the speculation.

Ok so the Internet was alive with rumours that the HSM star Vanessa Hudgens was going to audition for the part of Leah in the New Moon film - and now it seems that the rumours are being denied by Hudgen’s camp! I read the story myself on MTV News and they usually get these things right so I’m quite surprised by this latest twist.
According to Just Jared Jr:
“I don’t know anything about the audition,” Vanessa’s rep tells JJJ. “As far as I know, it’s just a rumor.”
Seems that Ashley Greene’s comment about Vanessa was taken way out of context because SpoilerTV is reporting that the character of Leah isn’t even being cast for!
